Tequila pancakes. Too much? Nope. Not at all. They are delicious, fruity and make a wonderful breakfast treat. Make these for the kids this morning and they will be hooked. Trust me.
Shouldn’t be any future problems. I’m sure you’re a great mom. Truly.
OK, maybe not for the kids. However, for the kid in you that likes tequila? Going with a yes.
Strawberry anything for breakfast is a win. In cereal, on waffles, on pancakes.
I tried here to incorporate as much strawberry as possible. The Tequila Rose has a soft strawberry kinda tequila flavor but if you drink tequila you know there’s not much tequila.
Thus making it more of a breakfast booze.
I did however cut the tequila rose with milk. The neighbor kids said that too much tequila clashed with the Baileys in their chocolate milk.
If you’re not mixing, which I would hope you wouldn’t so early in the morning like those damn kids. You could go full force on tequila rose and nix the milk. I personally dig it that way but that’s me.
Do you think you could survive in prison?
The thought has crossed my mind and I don’t think I could. I am totally cool with not moving and sleeping for hours. I’m like a koala.
When I had a dear friend who attended prison. Makes it sound like they chose to so it’s not as harsh.
When we asked her what prison was like. She had the best analogy.
She said, “Imagine going to work and not being able to leave for the next four years.”
Holy shit. If this doesn’t scare you straight you are one hard core mofo or you’ve never had a job.
Me personally, just having the thought. I thought I was gonna cry. I immediately had an anxiety attack and was on the verge of tears.
No wonder people come out worse than when they went in.
Could you imagine being locked in a building with your coworkers? For 4 years. Possibly more? Sharing a little room with someone you hate with all your being.
Give me the chair. Today. Fry my ass.
No way in hell. Couldn’t do it.

Strawberry Tequila Pancakes
Depending on size of course, but I usually get 6 pancakes from this recipe.
-In a food processor, process your flour, baking powder and freeze dried strawberries until smooth and consistent with no strawberry pieces. Place this mixture in a mixing bowl.
-Make your little well in the center of the dry ingredients and add your Tequila Rose, milk, egg and melted butter.
Notice there is no additional sugar. I don’t like overly sweet. I feel the tequila rose has the perfect amount of sweetness. If you feel it needs to be more sweet. Add a 1tsp of sugar.
Add a little butter to your frying pan on medium heat and ladle in your first pancake. You know the drill. Little bubbles start to form on top so you know it’s time to flip her over. Beautiful!
